To get a picture of the productive efficiency of viaContextâ„¢, we recommend our free account: in less than a minute you can start working with your free account - including your fully functional and ready to go portal!
In case you want an even quicker impression of viaContextâ„¢, we have prepared a few screenshots about important functionalities and layout options at this page.
After you have registered for your free account, you can use the username and password you have chosen to log into your portal. The following screenshots show a just created workspace after login. By clicking on one of the folder names in the navigation bar, the chosen folder is being displayed in the content frame. As long as the folder does not contain any objects, the tabs 'Page Layout' and 'Folder Management' are available.
The following screenshot shows the upload tool for the simultaneous upload of multiple files from multiple source folders, which is implemented as Java-Applet.
When a folder contains objects, you have two viewing options to choose from: the 'Grid View' and the 'List View'.
Another tool implemented as Java-Applet is the system administration tool, which is particularly helpful for maintaining accounts with multiple portals, users or groups.
The advanced search is a powerful tool to search for document contents (full-text search), metadata, folder descriptions (page layout) and comments. Search options are available to restrict the result set to one of the listed scopes, but the result set can even further be narrowed by date, a set of destination folders or chosen metadata fields.
Newly created portals share their look & feel with the viaContextâ„¢ look & feel. This guarantees the portals instant availability without the need to refine the layout any further. However, the following screenshot shows that all parts of a portal a subject to individual design.
